On Saturday February 23rd, 2008, the Orono Alliance celebrated its 7th anniversary with a creative black tie gala at the Lafayette Club. Our theme this year was "Young at Art."

The event included incredible live and silent auction items, as well as dinner and dancing.

Local artists and Orono students created wonderful pieces of art to be part of this special night - elementary and intermediate classrooms designed placemats and portfolios, middle schools created fabulous fiber art and sculptures, and the high school students provided original paintings.
