The Orono Alliance for Education relies on the generosity of Orono parents, grandparents, teachers, administrators, community members and local businesses to help make our mission possible.

Each fall the Alliance begins a new yearly fundraising effort. The slate is wiped clean and we work toward gathering donations for the Annual Fund. Our goal is to raise enough money in unrestricted annual funds each year in order to  make a substantial grant to the Orono School District. Since 2000, the Orono Alliance has awarded the Orono Public Schools $3.0 million.

Every Gift Matters!

Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. The majority of donations are less than $1000.  Together, we are able to make a significant grant to our schools that pereseves and enriches student  education.
